Every lead sits in one stage. A lead’s page shows the stages as a rail you can move along; on the Leads page, switch to the pipeline view to see them as columns.
- New: the enquiry has not been answered yet.
- Contacted: you have reached the buyer.
- Qualified: the buyer has confirmed things such as their budget, location or timeline.
- Site Visit: a visit is booked, done or asked for.
- Negotiation: price, payment plan, unit or paperwork is being discussed.
- Converted: the buyer went ahead. On the pipeline board this column is called Closed.
Lost, Not interested and On hold sit beside the rail. On hold pauses a lead without closing it. A lead that is on hold, lost or closed can be brought back into the pipeline.
Moving a lead asks one short question, such as how you reached the buyer or what is being negotiated, with room for a note. The answer is saved to the lead’s activity, and you can set the next follow-up in the same step.
