Open a lead and choose the Requirements tab. A requirement records what the buyer wants: buy or rent, property type, locations, configurations, budget, minimum size, possession date and purpose. It stays private to your workspace.
- Choose Add requirement. For a buyer who enquired about a listing and has no requirement yet, you can choose Start from this property instead: it fills in the property type, configuration and locality from that listing.
- Ask the buyer for their budget and timing, and fill those in. Enter full amounts; the line under each budget shows how it reads, such as ₹1.2 Cr.
- Save.
- A buyer can have more than one requirement, such as a home to live in and a plot to invest in.
- Every change is kept in the requirement’s history.
- Schedule a site visit straight from a requirement. The visit keeps the requirement as it was when you booked it.
- Closing a requirement asks for a reason and does not close the lead or its other requirements.
- Leads added before requirements existed may show a draft requirement copied from the details entered at the time. Check it with the buyer and make it active.
Once a requirement is saved, the lead shows which of your properties and project units fit it. See Find matching properties and share a shortlist.
